Rah Ahan Football Club (Persian باشگاه فوتبال راه آهن ) is an Iranian football club based in Tehran, which is in the Iranian Pro League, the top division of the country, active.

History

1964 Rah Ahan Football Club was founded. Owner and main sponsor of the club since its founding in the Iranian Railroad Company ( Iran Railways ). 2008/ 09 the club reached the final of the national cup competition. After a 1-0 win in the first leg against Zob Ahan Isfahan they lost the return match with 1:5 and so missed the first title win in club history.

In the past season 2009/10, Rah Ahan just avoided relegation, finishing in 15th place in the standings.
