Rahim Aliabadi

Rahim Aliabadi (Persian رحيم علی آبادی, born March 22, 1943) is an Iranian wrestler in the Greco-Roman style. He was a participant at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich.

Aliabadi won in Munich in paper weight (48 kg), the silver medal.

Other major international success Aliabadis are a silver medal he won in this weight class at the Wrestling World Championships 1969 in Mar del Plata, and the bronze medal win in the featherweight (52 kg) at the Wrestling World Championships 1973 in Tehran.

Rahim Aliabadi closed his career by winning the gold medal in the paper weight at the Asian Games in 1974 in Tehran.
