Rai Radio 3

Rai Radio 3 (radio Tre ) is the cultural and classical program of Radiotelevisione Italiana, the public service broadcaster in Italy.

History

The program was founded on 1 October 1950 as Terzo programma (Eng. third program ) modeled after the third program founded in 1946 by the BBC. It received its current name in 1976.

Program

The program consists of cultural issues: Classic and avant-garde music ( including live concerts), drama, literature, history, philosophy, religion and mythology.
