Rainbow Brite

Regina Rainbow (English: Rainbow Brite ) is an American animated television series that was originally based on a Hallmark postcard series.

Action

The Orphan Girl Whisp comes in a country where there is no light and no color. She rescues the seven children trapped there colors, each of which is responsible for a color of the rainbow, and the spear of light. She also finds the rainbow belt, with which it can produce colors. So it saves the country and becomes Regina rainbow and henceforth they are and the color kids for the colors in the world responsible.

The rainbow belt needs for functioning color crystals that are mined from the star Densities, the helpers of the rainbow children, in a mine. Each color has a child star wretch, who helps him in the production of the corresponding color. Regina's adversary Grandad curmudgeon and creep Michel but want to have everything sad and gray. Production and publication

The television series consists of 13 half-hour episodes and a two-hour movie. The series was produced from 1984 to 1986 by DiC Enterprises and Hallmark Cards under the direction of Rich Rudish, Bernard and Bruno Bianchi Deyriès. The music was composed by Shuki Levy and Haim Saban.

The first broadcast of the series was 27 June 1984 to 1986 in the United States. This was followed by radiations including France, Spain, Japan and Finland. In Germany, the series was broadcast in late 1980 on RTL PLUS and 2001 by Fox Kids.
