Rainer Strecker

Rainer Strecker ( born October 25, 1965 in Berlin ) is a German actor.

Life

Strecker received his acting training at the Otto Falkenberg School in Munich. First engagements have taken him from the mid-1980s to the theater, for example, 1989 to the German Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, where he was to be seen until 1994 as a member of the ensemble, inter alia, in The Idiot. In addition to stage work, he also has a presence in film and television. He played for example in rows like Bella Block and the crime scene or in the series Klemperer - A life in Germany. Since 2000 he has been a Commissioner Volker Brehm to the investigative team next Aglaia Szyszkowitz in the ZDF detective series use in Hamburg.

Strecker also works as an audio book speakers such as for Cornelia Funke The Thief Lord and her Inkheart trilogy with the volumes Inkheart, Inkspell and Tintentod; the audio versions were placed all on the hr2 audio book leaderboard.

In his spare time he developed a passion for Aikido, Iaidō, sword and stick fighting. He lives in Berlin.
