Ralph Aitken

Ralph Allan Aitken ( born February 16, 1863 in Kilbarchan, then Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire today; † January 10, 1928 ) was a Scottish football player.

Career

Born in 1863 Ralph Aitken played in his club career for two teams: the Dumbarton FC and Newcastle West End, which later arose by fusion Newcastle United. With Dumbarton the Left Wing was in 1887 in the final of the Scottish FA Cup. His career ended no later than 1892. For the Scottish national football team, he played two games and scored one goal.

After the end of his career Aitken worked at a shipyard in Fife. He died in 1928 at the age of 64 years.
