Ramat HaSharon
Ramat haScharon (Hebrew רמת השרון, Arabic رامات هشارون, German Hill Sharon ) is a city in Israel.
History
On October 4, 1923 Ramat haScharon was founded as Ir Shalom. The founders of the Moschawa were olim ( immigrants) from Poland. 1931 counted Ramat haScharon 312 inhabitants.
Geography
Ramat haScharon is located about 10 kilometers northeast of Tel Aviv. In 2009, the population of the city was 40,600.
