Ramdurg ( Kannada: ರಾಮದುರ್ಗ Rāmadurga, also Ramdurga or Ramadurga ) is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka with around 32,000 inhabitants ( 2001 census). Until 1948 it was the capital of the princely state Ramdurg.

Ramdurg is located in Belgaum district in the northwest of Karnataka in Deccan Plateau at an altitude of around 570 meters above sea level on the banks of Malprabha, a tributary of the Krishna. The city is the capital of taluks (sub - district ) Ramdurg. The next largest cities are 69 km northeast Bagalkot and Belgaum 95 km west.

On the rule of the Maharajas of Ramdurg remember in the city, the fortifications and the Ghotge Palace.
