Ramilya Burangulova

Ramilja Munawarowna Burangulowa (Russian Рамиля Мунаваровна Бурангулова, English transcription Ramilya Burangulova, . Born July 11, 1961) is a Russian long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon.

At the World Athletics Championships 1991 in Tokyo and at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, she was eighth, respectively, at the World Championships in Stuttgart in 1993 Fourth.

In 1996, she turned to her personal best of 2:27:58 in fourth place at the Nagoya Marathon. In the same year she won the Honolulu Marathon.

In 2000 and 2001 she won the Dubai Marathon, the 2003 Hartford Marathon with a course record of 2:33:26, and the following year they finished ninth in the Boston Marathon.

In 2004 and 2005 she won the Baltimore Marathon.

The 2007 season started for them with victories at the Miami Marathon and the Los Angeles Marathon.
