Ramon Despuig

Fra ' Ramón y Martinez de Marcilla Despuig (* 1670 in Palma, † January 15, 1741 in Valletta) was the 67th Grand Master of the Order of Malta.

He belonged to the Aragonese tongue of the Order and Bailiff of Majorca and Seneschal of Malta was before, after the death of Grand Master Antonio Manoel de Vilhena, was elected on December 16, 1736 as his successor. He held office until his death in in 1741.

During his tenure, the galleys of the Order operated successfully against Algerian pirates.
