Ramón Rodríguez (actor)

Ramón Rodríguez ( born December 20, 1979 in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico) is a native of Puerto Rico, American actor, model and dancer.

Life

Rodríguez was born in Río Piedras and grew up there as well on, and later moved to Manhattan in the Lower East Side. He attended the New York City Lab School for Collaborative Studies, where he was with Morena Baccarin and Claire Danes in a class. He attended a school in Michigan. He was playing basketball the last two years. Later he was a student at Wheeling Jesuit University and New York University, where he graduated in Sports.

Career

Rodríguez is familiar since childhood with the film industry and had early first engagements in smaller film projects. He has worked for Nike and the New York Knicks. He was known primarily for his role in the two television series The Wire and Day Break. Furthermore, one knows him for his role opposite John Turturro in the films Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and the remake of The Taking of Pelham 123 He also appeared in various television shows like Saturday Night Live. He also works as a professional dancer. Rodríguez is also active as a writer and wrote among other things for Newsweek and the Bound magazine.
