Random House Tower

The Random House Tower is a 208 meter tall skyscraper in New York City. The completed in 2003 building has 52 floors and is located in the 56th Street at Broadway Manhattan. The skyscraper will be used as hotel, office, observation deck and telecommunications. In addition, the Random House Tower, the headquarters of the company Random House. The building ranked No. 48 of the tallest buildings in New York City.

The plans were Owings and Merrill created by architects Skidmore,. Work on the Random House Tower started in spring 2000, at a cost of 300 million U.S. dollars. The building was completed and officially opened in the winter of the same year in the summer of 2003.

The floors 48 to 52 are used for residential purposes. Among the first residents of the apartments include P. Diddy and New York Yankees Captain Randy Johnson.
