Randy Foye

Randy Foye (* September 24, 1983 in Newark, New Jersey ) is an American professional basketball player who is currently with the Denver Nuggets in the NBA under contract.

Career

College

Foye played during his college time for Villanova University and in 2005 had the NCAA Tournament against the University of North Carolina in the first 3 games an average of about 20 points, but lost in the fourth and final game against the eventual tournament winner with a distance of one point. His then Career was 28 points.

In the NCAA Tournament in 2006 Foye was named Big East Player of the Year by the coaches of the 16 teams in the Big East Conference, even prior to the current NBA player Rudy Gay.

NBA

In NBA Draft 2006, he was selected 7th place of the Boston Celtics, but moved shortly thereafter to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Minnesota Timberwolves

In his rookie season with the Timberwolves, he played in all 82 games with in the regular season and was able to record an average of 10.1 points per game with an average of 22.9 minutes per game. For his achievements Foye was appointed to this season the NBA All Rookie First Team. Over the next two seasons for Minnesota to increased his achievements before he was sent on 23 June 2009 together with Mike Miller for Oleksiy Pecherov, Etan Thomas, Darius Songaila and a Erstrundendraftpick to the Washington Wizards.

Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards signed Foye in 2009 a one- year contract. Since he played there about 15 minutes less per game, his performance declined compared with the previous season a little. In 64 games, he could nevertheless have 10.1 points and 3.3 assists per game. On 8 July 2010 it was announced that he will join as a free agent with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Los Angeles Clippers

Since the 2010/11 season he played with the Los Angeles Clippers. On April 2, 2012 Foye scored his season high of 28 points and a Career High of 8 turned three-point throws against the Dallas Mavericks.

Utah Jazz

In summer 2012, Foye signed a one-year contract with the Utah Jazz.

Denver nuggets

After a year Foye left the Jazz and was transferred to a sign- trade deal with the Denver Nuggets.
