Randy Stoklos

Randy Stoklos ( born December 13, 1960 in Pacific Palisades, California ) is a former American professional volleyball and beach volleyball player.

Randy Stoklos began in 1974 with the beach volleyball at Muscle Beach in Venice, California, on the side of Joe Gold. From 1979 to 1980 he was also a member of the hall the U.S. national team. The first tournament victory of his career celebrated Randy Stoklos 1981 along with Jim Menges at the Manhattan Beach Open. With his partner Sinjin Smith, he dominated the volleyball sport from 1982 to 1993, where he was in 1982 and 1988 ( unofficial ) world champion and 1990 U.S. champion. He was also 1988, 1989 and 1990, named the Most Valuable Player of the AVP Tour. Also the total victory of the first four FIVB World Tours 1989/90, 1990/91, 1991/ 92 and 1992/93 went to Smith / Stoklos. After eleven-year partnership with Sinjin Smith, Randy Stoklos formed in 1993 to team up with his longtime friend Brian Lewis, with whom he won the Chicago Open. In 1994 and 1995 he won five tournaments on the side of Adam Johnson. After two more years with various partners Randy Stoklos ended his active career in 1997.

2008 Randy Stoklos was included in the "Volleyball Hall of Fame".
