Ranjit Hoskote

Ranjit Hoskoté ( born March 29, 1969 in Bombay ( Mumbai) ) is an English writing Indian writer, art curator and arts journalist.

Life

He studied political science, aesthetics and literature in English.

As a reviewer Hoskoté wrote reviews about cinema, architecture, art and cultural policy in various international newspapers and magazines, including Poetry Review (London), Wasafiri ( Canterbury ), Rattapallax New York), Fulcrum (Cambridge, Massachusetts), West Coast Line ( Burnaby ), Art and Thought ( Goethe -Institut Bonn), The New Straits Times (Kuala Lumpur ), Indian Literature ( New Delhi).

Ranjit Hoskoté was curator of several exhibitions of Indian artists and Chairman of the Poetry Circle Bombay. He is secretary of the Indian PEN Club. IN Hoskoté day job is editor of the English daily newspaper "The Hindu " in Bombay.
