The rank Bach is the main river of the city Renningen. It is the largest tributary of the Würm and springs in the forest area between Leonberg - Warmbronn, Magstadt and Stuttgart -Vaihingen. The rank creek flows through Magstadt and Renningen until it flows north of Weil der Stadt in the Würm. Its most important tributary is the corn digging out Warmbronn.
The rank brook course is named after the creek Rank.
