The Eisenhutblättrige called Buttercup ( Ranunculus aconitifolius ), also Sturmhutblättriger buttercup or crowfoot Eisenhut, a flowering plant in the family Ranunculaceae is ( Ranunculaceae ). It is relatively common in Europe.

Description

The Eisenhutblättrige buttercups growing as deciduous, perennial herbaceous plant, reaching heights of growth from 20 to 50 (100 ) cm. The stem has spread branches. The leaves are distributed basal and alternate on the stem. The leaf blade is more or less deeply lobed fingered palmate up. The middle lobe of the basal leaves are narrowed into a short pedicel. The portions of the stem leaves are cut fairly wide and up to the top.

The flowering period extends from May to July. The flower stalks are fluffy and one to three times as long as the cover sheet during flowering. The hermaphrodite flowers are radial symmetry. The five petals are pure white. The stamens and style are about the same length. The mature nutlets are 2-3 mm long and about 2 mm wide.

The chromosome number is 2n = 16

Occurrence

The Eisenhutblättrige Buttercup has presence in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, northern Italy, in the western part of the former Czechoslovakia, in the western area of the former Yugoslavia, in France and in the northern and central Spain. Outside Europe, it does not occur.

The Eisenhutblättrige buttercups in Austria is scattered by the widespread montane to subalpine altitudinal zone. You lack in Burgenland and Vienna. As the site perennials rich forests, tall herb communities, stream edges and spring swamps are particularly preferred over silicate rock.
