Raphael Nuzzolo

Raphaël Nuzzolo ( born July 5, 1983 in Biel / Bienne ) is a Swiss footballer who plays as a midfielder for BSC Young Boys in the Axpo Super League since summer 2011.

Career

Nuzzolo played in his youth nine years at FC Biel -Bienne. After two seasons years in professional team of FC Biel -Bienne in 2001 he moved to Neuchâtel Xamax. Actually Nuzzolo was a skilled striker, but after a few years at Neuchâtel Xamax he was converted into a midfielder.

2006, when Miroslav Blažević was the coach of Neuchatel Xamax, he said, Nuzzolo have a future in the Swiss national team. On 19 February 2006, he scored his first goal in a 2-2 draw against Grasshopper Club Zurich.

During the 2008/ 09 season Nuzzolo coach Nestor Clausen from the striker was converted into a midfielder. In the season 2009/10, as Neuchâtel Xamax had a good start to the season, he completed every possible game and was in the years to become a stalwart at Xamax. Among other things he most recently held the post of captain.

For the season 2011/12 he moved to the BSC Young Boys and signed a four-year contract.
