Rashid Rakhimov

Rashid Rakhimov Mamatkulowitsch (Russian Рашид Маматкулович Рахимов, scientific transliteration Rashid Rakhimov Mamatkulovič; born March 18, 1965 in Dushanbe, Tajik SSR ) is a Russian football coach and former football player.

The midfielder played since his youth for Pamir Dushanbe, 1982, he performed his first mission in the men's team. With Pamir he rose in the late 1980s into the first Soviet league then played three years in the Wysschaja league. In 1992 he went to Spartak Moscow, but was passed after only eleven panels on the Spanish club Real Valladolid. In 1993 and 1994 he was back in the Premjer league contract, first at Lok Moscow and then again at Spartak. His other stations were Austria Wien (1995-2000), Admira Wacker (2000/2001) and the SV Ried (2001 /2002). He came to a total of four appearances for the Russian national team in 1994; next he ran in 1992 and 1996, once on the selection of Tajikistan.

His previous coach stations were VfB Admira Wacker Mödling, Amkar Perm and Lokomotiv Moscow. With the Südstädtern the Russians managed twice in the league (No. 6 and 7). In 2006 he accepted the post as coach of Amkar Perm, with whom he sixth in the Russian Premjer League was surprising. Until April 2009 he was engaged with Alfred Tatar as an assistant coach with the Russian first division club Lokomotiv Moscow. From 2009 to September 2011, Rakhimov was again active in Perm. He was released on 28 September 2011 and replaced by the Montenegrin Miodrag Bozovic. Since November 2013 the first division club Terek Grozny Rakhimov trained.
