Rätzlingen
Rätzlingen is a municipality in the midst of the Lüneburg Heath in the district of Uelzen, Lower Saxony. The municipality belongs to the Rätzlingen Samtgemeinde Rosche.

Geography
The place is characterized by farms and part-time farms. Rätzlingen as church and school community has largely developed into a residential community. The primary school Rätzlingen is now a branch of elementary school Rosche.
Community structure
The community Rätzlingen consists only of the village Rätzlingen and is thus one of the few municipalities in Lower Saxony, which has not been merged with the municipality reform in 1972 with other communities.
History
The village was first mentioned in 1032 under the name Inge rest.

The council is composed of nine city councils and municipal councils.

Mayor Harald Dammann ( Wählergemeinschaft Rätzlingen ). The municipal director of the council has the Samtgemeinde Mayor Herbert Rätzmann appointed.
Coat of arms
The coat of arms of the municipality Rätzlingen is green in a single-tower church silver in front view, beseitet up from a slight angle upward made silver oak leaf and also slightly obliquely upwards made silver cattails with two leaves.

There is a partnership with the district Rätzlingen the city Oebisfelde - Weferlingen district Borde in Saxony -Anhalt.
Culture
For parish includes the chapel communities Riestedt, sticks, Hanstedt II and the Branch communities Rassau, Schliekau and Gansau. The chapel communities were legally independent by the end of 2008, and since 2009 form a joint parish. When the church was founded Rätzlingen, is not to be dated precisely.
