Rauchwart is a municipality with 461 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Güssing in Burgenland in Austria.
The Hungarian name of the village is Rábort.

Geography
The municipality is located in southern Burgenland. The only place the community is Rauchwart in Burgenland.
History
The place was like the rest of Burgenland to 1920/21 Hungary ( German West Hungary). Since 1898, had to be used because of Magyarization the government in Budapest the Hungarian name Rábort. After the end of World War II German West Hungary was awarded in the Treaties of St. Germain and Trianon in 1919 Austria after tough negotiations. The place belongs since 1921 to the newly founded State of Burgenland (see also history of Burgenland ).

The distribution of seats (11 seats) in the municipal council is 7 SPÖ, ÖVP 3, 1 FPÖ, Green 0 0 lists and other mandates.
Sports
Rauchwart is also the home of the ice hockey club established in 2007 EC Rauchwarter Ice Riders, the only hockey club in southern Burgenland.
Motorsport
The successful Superbike team, the Racing Team Frey, in Rauchwart is headquartered. The long- distance specialists were able to ride with some international competitions in front. The national biggest success is the 3rd overall in the Austrian long-distance championship.
