Raúl Castronovo

Raúl Castronovo Zanón Osvaldo ( born January 11, 1949 in Rosario ) is a former Argentine footballer. He started his footballing career at the age of 19 years at CA Rosario Central in his hometown and moved to two years for the top Uruguayan club Penarol. Although he with ten goals at once scorer in the Copa Libertadores was in the service of the Black - Yellow 1971 ( together with Luis Artime from Club Nacional de Football ), he left the club after just one season in the direction of Europe and has been committed by the AS Nancy. There Castronovo experienced until 1974 the most successful period of his career, before he took six more years for four Spanish teams.
