Rav Kahana IV

Rab Kahana was a Babylonian amora of the sixth generation, and lived and worked around 400 AD in Pum Naharas ( close to Nehardea ).

There were several amora of the name Kahana, three of which are considered significant. All these are tell them apart is not always accurate in research.

The here discussed Kahana was of priestly descent and has gained importance as a teacher Aschis.

Presumably he was a student and the Papas Huna b. Yehoshua.
