The Ravens in the Harz Mountains is an approximately 659 m above sea level. NHN high near Bad Sachsa in the unincorporated area of the county resin Osterode am Harz in Lower Saxony.

Geographical location

The Ravens mountain is located in the southern Harz Harz nature park. It rises about 3.5 km northwest of Bad Sachsa, approximately 4.5 km east of Bad Loud Mountain and about 4.5 km (in each case a straight line ) southwest of Wieda. Berghof mountain Ravens

The restaurant was in 1888 extended to a wooden floor and this expanded with rooms. The Hotel Berghof Ravens mountain was rebuilt several times. In the style of a mountain chalet, it was dressed in a planking and resembled his porch and the lookout tower to the neighboring mountain hotel Stöberhai. The Berghof was completely burned down, together with the tower on Christmas Eve 1962.

The owner of Fritz Kühn family has subsequently re-erected the still existing hotel building in a different form, which was opened on 11 March 1964. On the construction of an observation tower has been omitted here.

In September 2009, the Berghof was purchased by the town of Bad Sachsa is the first time no longer in family hands. In July 2010 he took over the family Dornieden a new tenant.

Dreiherrenstein
