Ravindra Prabhat

Ravindra Prabhat ( born April 5, 1969 in Mahindwara, Bihar ) is an Indian writer, poet and journalist.

Life

Prabhat was born in the village Mahindwara 1969. He studied geography at the Bihar University in Muzaffarpur and then Journalism and Communication at the Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad. He lives and works in Lucknow and is the editor of Hindi magazine VATVRIKSH in Lucknow.

Literary career

Ravindra Prabhat is mainly known for his debut novel Taki Bacha Rahe Loktantra. His novels are written in a humorous style and should go beyond the basic concept of comedy. He opposes conventional traditions and forms a niche for itself. His second novel, Prem na haat Bikay is about a love triangle Geschichtes. Prabhat has worked in various subjects written in the last two and a half decades. His poems, novels, and essays have been included in numerous anthologies and translated into many Indian as well as in European languages.
