Raymundo Rodríguez

Raymundo Rodríguez González ( * April 15, 1905, † unknown), also known by the nickname Mapache (Spanish for The Coon ) was a Mexican footballer, who acted in the midfield.

Life

Obtained from the limited amount of posterity remaining data is only known that " Mapache " Rodríguez was at least 1928-1930 when CD Marte under contract. In the 1928/29 season he won with the Marciano, the Mexican Football Championship and 1930 he was part of the squad of the Mexican national team, who represented her native country at the inaugural FIFA World Cup in Uruguay. He graduated on 19 July 1930 the last group match against the eventual runners-up Argentina ( 3:6 ) his only international appearance.
