Reactome

Reactome is a freely accessible online database for Biochemistry molecular interactions at the cellular level, including protein -protein interactions, DNA, RNA, carbohydrates and small molecule interactions.

The aim of the project is to show the biochemical metabolic and signaling pathways in the individual steps of an interaction process, and for several species. The entry shall be made on the basis of scientific publications or by confirmation of hypothetical interactions ( from the extrapolation from other species) in the four-eyes principle.

The annotations take place at the time, especially in the areas of the cell cycle, metabolism, signal transduction, transport, cell motility, immune response, pathogen interactions and the neurobiology.
