Receiver (information theory)

A receiver, also the addressee is in the information-theoretic sense of a sender-receiver model, a person or entity that gets transmitted a message ( mailing, message or other information ) through a medium by the sender ( addresser ).

The received information, a message may be a signal in interpersonal communication, a feeling or an appeal.
