RecordMyDesktop

Recordmydesktop is a free, open source software for creating screencasts. The software has been developed for Linux and is designed for ease of use. The program consists of a command line program that implements the actual functionality and a graphical frontend written in Python, which is present in both versions for gtk - recordMyDesktop ( PyGTK ) and for qt- recordMyDesktop ( PyQt4 ).

RecordMyDesktop stores in ogv file format.
