The Green-cheeked Amazon (Amazona viridigenalis ) is a species of parrot from the genus of Amazon parrots (Amazona ).

Appearance

The Green-cheeked Amazon is one of the medium sized Amazon species. Their body length is 31-35 cm. She has dark green plumage; Forehead and top of the head are bright red, blue violet, the area behind the eyes, the beak is horn colored yellowish.
