Red Tuesday

The Red Tuesday bushfires ( German: Red - Tuesday bushfires ) occurred on February 1, 1898 in the southern Gippsland in Victoria in Australia. In these bushfires twelve people were killed, 2,000 houses were destroyed. 15,000 people were affected, of which 2,500 were left homeless.
