Redwitz an der Rodach
Redwitz at the Unterrodach ( officially: Redwitz adRodach ) is a municipality in the district of Lichtenfels ( government district of Upper Franconia ) and office of the Management Community at the Redwitz Unterrodach.

Geography
In Redwitz the Steinach opens into the Unterrodach, which flows five kilometers behind Redwitz into the Main.
Geographical Location
Redwitz lies in the middle between Lichtenfels and Kronach.
Community structure
The community is adjacent to the main church Redwitz Redwitz from the four hamlets of Long city, Mannsgereuth, Trainau and Obristfeld.
History
Incorporations
On April 1, 1972, a part of the formerly independent municipality Neuses was incorporated on Main. On July 1, 1972 Trainau followed. On April 1, 1975 was added Unterlangenfeld city. The series of incorporations found with the inclusion of Mannsgereuth on May 1, 1978, you end.
