The Reebok Stadium is the football stadium of the English club Bolton Wanderers, and is in Horwich, Bolton outside.

History

The modern football arena in which there is only seating, can accommodate 28,723 spectators and replaced in 1997 the old Burnden Park. This was met with the most fans initially rejected, as a reminder of the traditional Burnden Park was finally the road, which is adjacent to the stadium, renamed Burnden Way.

The stadium was named after the main sponsor of Bolton Wanderers, the sporting goods manufacturer Reebok.

Use

Since the opening of the stadium during the 0-0 draw against Bolton Wanderers Everton on 1 September 1997, the English football club Bolton Wanderers plays its home matches at the Reebok Stadium. In addition, the stadium serves as a venue for various cultural events, such as Concerts, a hotel with corresponding spaces such as meeting rooms is also located on the stadium grounds. It is also used frequently as a venue for English rugby internationals.

It is unusual that both teams from two different outputs running either side of the center line of the square.

Record turnout: 28 353 spectators at the Premier League game of the Bolton Wanderers against Leicester City on 28 December 2003.
