Reece Mastin

Reece Mastin (born 24 November 1994 Scunthorpe, England) is an Australian rock singer.

Career

Born and raised in England Mastin, before he moved with about 10 years with his family to Australia. He lives in Green With in Adelaide and visited the Golden Grove High School. From a young age he was interested in music, he plays several instruments, has been active in several bands and has its own EP Date. In 2011 he took part in the Australian version of The X Factor. In the seventh week show he was able to escape only through the showdown among the last five, but after he convinced the voting public and could finally win the competition.

With his winning song Goodnight he jumped early December 2011 at number 1 of the Australian charts. Its called after him debut album with his show songs came during Christmas week at No. 2 New Zealand has managed single and album at No. 1 Goodnight sold over a quarter of a million times ( 4x platinum), the album got in his native double platinum.

In May and July 2012 followed by Shut Up & Kiss Me, and Shout It Out two more singles that could be placed in the charts of both countries at the front.
