Reed Gusciora

Reed Gusciora ( born March 27, 1960 in Passaic, New Jersey) is an American politician ( Democratic Party).

After school Gusciora studied Political Science and International Relations at the Catholic University of America and Law at the Seton Hall University School of Law. After graduation, he worked as a lawyer. Since 1996 he has been a deputy in the New Jersey General Assembly for the 15th District of the State of New Jersey, the Guscioras Location, Princeton, includes.

Since 2008 he is deputy leader of the Democrats in the General Assembly and also held from 1998 to 2001 a leadership role in his group ( "assistant minority leader", but not " deputy minority leader" ). It belongs to the Environment and Solid Waste Committee (as vice chairman), the household, the Legal Committee, and the Joint State Leasing and Space Utilization Committee. December 2006, with his public coming out, he became the first openly lesbian and gay member of the New Jersey Legislature (consisting of General Assembly and Senate of New Jersey).
