Reflection (Band)

Reflection is a company incorporated in Dortmund 1992 Thrash Metal band. Her style is described by "Rock Hard" and " Heavy oder was? " Than old-school thrash metal in the 1980s.

Band History

In 1992, guitarist Timo Lehmann and his former fellow musicians in Lünen the band. A year later, Reflection played in the interlude of Accuser. 1994 was included in the band with Markus Radola a new singer. The style became more and more in today's game direction, but this did not please all members. The band then broke up in 1996 provisionally. Radola and Lehmann tried to find new members, giving them, however, it was not until the end of 1999. Thus, two new musicians were found with the second guitarist Heino Drescher and the bassist Siggi Kwapich, six months later, was then found with Stephan Bäumer on drums the right fifth man. It was recorded a demo CD, which was released in May 2001 as " Blind Rage " EP. The Drum Demo Listening Session 2001, she was selected from over 1,300 tape recordings from all over Europe among the top 20 in the region hard'n'heavy. Soon followed also had performances in North Rhine -Westphalia. In February 2002, then followed the demo EP "Trapped Insanity", after their publication showed more label interest. However, it was a collaboration with these labels rather than an expense, so that you waited a bit. In the meantime, you had already earned a reputation around the world, first CDs were sent abroad to overseas. Several Internet Magazine offered their songs for download, they achieved good online chart positions. Meanwhile touring the Germany, and foreign offers, there was that one but on the basis of financial costs could not accept. It was decided the first CD with full-length record, in mid-2003 had then completed under the name of "Made in Hell". The new songs were more complex than the old stuff, but still thrash metal. In February 2004, the band signed a contract with then STF-Records, then on 14 June 2004 published the album Made in Hell. In August 2005, Stephan Bäumer had to leave the band due to professional reasons. After two weeks was found in Kev Siepmann a replacement. Kev Siepmann but remained only a year, then he was replaced by Boris Frenkel. In October 2009, signed a contract with Reflection fastball, which released the album Advertising Violence on February 21, 2011. Since August 2010, the former member Stephan Bäumer (drums) is again an integral part of the band.
