Regional Air

Regional Air Services is an airline based in Arusha Tanzania. The airline is cooperating with Airkenya and fly next charter destinations exclusively national goals.

History

Regional Air Services was founded in 1997. In July of the same year of flight operations began with an airplane and a pilot. Over time, three Twin Otters and 2005, a Cessna 208 were purchased. On the day about 50 passengers are carried. The airline has its headquarters at Arusha Airport, in northern Tanzania. Regional Air Services has 47 employees, including ten pilots. A number of famous people were transported with Regional Air Services, including Nelson Mandela, Kofi Annan and several others.

Destinations

Regional Air Services flies only domestic airport, and also offers charter flights for tourists. Because of the good takeoff and landing characteristics of the machines and the landing on unpaved airfields is possible.
