Régis Jauffret
Régis Jauffret ( born June 5, 1955 in Marseille ) is a French writer. He lives in Paris.
Life
Régis Jauffret is the author of a play, and numerous novels. Inspired by the literature Marcel Proust, Franz Kafka, Virginia Woolf and Truman Capote tries Jauffret in his works, enter into the spirit of his characters.
He explored the depths of the human psyche and has in his novels, among others in the world of ideas of rapists ( Histoire d' amour ) and child murderers ( Clémence Picot ) issued.
For Asil de fous In 2005 he was awarded the Prix Femina literary prize. Sévère regarded as literary implementation of the circumstances of the murder of one of the richest men in France, Edouard Stern.
His latest novel Claustria who treats the Austrian Josef Fritzl criminal case, appeared in September 2012 in the publishing Lessing ROAD 6, an imprint of Ecowin Verlag. Jauffret had traveled for research purposes at a court hearing in St. Pölten.
