Régis Laconi

Régis Laconi ( born July 8, 1975 in Saint- Dizier, Haute -Marne, France ) is a French motorcycle racer.

Régis Laconi is the son of an Italian father and a French mother. He starts his few years in the Superbike World Championship since the 2009 season, he starts to Ducati.

Career

Régis Laconi began his career in 1991 in the French 125cc Championship. The following year, he won the title in the 250cc class. In 1994 Laconi European champion in the 250 cc class.

World Motorcycle Championship

Laconi completed his first Grand Prix in the motorcycle world championship in the year 1992 as a wildcard rider in the race in France in the 125 cc class. In the seasons 1995 and 1996, he launched permanently in the 250 cc class on Honda without achieve presentable results.

In 1997 Laconi moved to the 500cc World Championship, where he drove a V2 Honda team Tecmas Honda ELF.
