Reid Scott (actor)

Reid Scott ( born November 19, 1977 in Albany, New York ) is an American actor. He was best known for his role as Brendan Dorff in the sitcom My Boys. He also appeared in various commercials, television series All My Children and in the theater production Cargo.

Life

Scott was born on November 19, 1977 in Albany, New York. He attended Syracuse University and then moved to New York City to begin a film career there. He currently lives in Los Angeles.

After roles in the soap opera All My Children, the play Cargo and various commercials, Reid moved to the West Coast and got a starring role in the pilot for With You In Spirit for the Fox. In this he was to play a character based on Steve Levitan, the show's creator, was based. The series was never continued.

He then moved several times from New York to Los Angeles and vice versa. He worked constantly for television and cinema. In My Boys, a sitcom of the station TBS, he played one of the main character. Scott was also a star of the sitcom Absolutely relative.

Scott was also part of the cast of Showtime's The Big C. There he took over the role of the oncologist of the main character (played by Laura Linney ).
