Reijo Ståhlberg

Reijo Ståhlberg ( Reijo Einar Ståhlberg; born September 21, 1952 in Ekenäs ) is a former Finnish shot putter.

In 1974 he finished eleventh at the European Athletics Championships in Rome in 1976 and twelfth at the Olympic Games in Montreal. In 1978 he won at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Milan and was fifth at the European Championships in Prague.

Another gold medal at the European Indoor Championships in Vienna in 1979 and a silver medal at the Universiade in the same year was followed by a fourth place finish at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow.

1981 in Grenoble, he was the third time European indoor champion, 1982, he was ninth at the European Championships in Athens.

Nine times he was Finnish champion in the open ( 1973, 1974, 1976-1982 ) and six times in the Hall (1973, 1976, 1977, 1979, 1981, 1982).
