Rekhmire

Rekhmire was an Egyptian vizier during the New Kingdom ( 15th century BC), the reign of Thutmosis III. and Amenhotep II officiated. His grandfather Aametju, his uncle and his father Useramun Neferweben had also been in office. Under Amenhotep II his family lost due to the rise of the army leaders to influence.

Grave

Rekhmire is primarily known by his grave ( TT100 ) in the necropolis Sheikh Abd el- Qurna, the text of which certificates are held partly autobiographical.
