Remaindered book

As returned books (Latin remittere " return " ) are usually books, rare also referred to other goods that sends back the trade to the publisher. Reasons for this may be defects in individual books, lifting the fixed retail price by the publisher or agreed terms of the bookstore with the publisher, allow the return and refund of a percentage of their annual salary. Also book wholesalers allow in the definition of terms with the bookstores, the reflectance of a percentage of their annual salary.

In remitted books that are available and as new, the book price is maintained.

Are the remainders damaged, one speaks of defects copies, which may be sold at reduced prices. Apparent defects copies bypass the price fixing by books are classified and sold without actual deficiency as defects copies.
