The Remingtonocetidae are a group of extinct mammals from the main line of the Whales ( Cetacea) from the Eocene Period ( 49-43 million years ago), whose fossils have been found in India and Pakistan. They include the genera Andrewsiphius, Attockicetus, Dalanistes, Kutchicetus and Remingtonocetus.

The representatives of the Remingtonocetidae probably lived amphibian, hunted with their long snouts on the nature of today's Otter to fish. They were much better adapted to life in water than the Ambulocetidae.

Her small eyes and wide-set ears suggest that they oriented themselves under water with the hearing.
