Location and topography

The creek rises to 320 meters above sea level. NN west of Radevormwalder Hofschaft birch and first flows past in a westerly direction to Remlingrade and to the court. After receiving inflow from the Brackener stream, it flows in a wide arc past its distinctive river valley on in meadow, crosses under the provincial road 414 and flows towards Oedeschlenke to 202 meters above sea level. NN in the Wupper. The ridge between the creek and the river Wupper Remlingrader is less than 140 meters wide at its narrowest point.

Between the Wupper mouth and Remlingrade the county road K6 follows the creek through its valley. This road is based on a medieval Altstrasse between Beyenburg ( official residence of the Bergisch Office Beyenburg ) about Remlingrade ( bergischer allodial possession ) to Frankfurt- faceted sights in the north Radevormwalds, an important medieval trade and Heerweg.
