Rémy Belvaux

Rémy Belvaux ( born November 10, 1966 in Namur, Belgium, † September 4, 2006 in Orry- la -Ville, France) was a Belgian actor, film director and screenwriter.

Rémy Belvaux began his career with the realization of commercials for the company Quad Productions. He was there as one of the most active and most creative directors of all time, by he implemented an impressive number of commercials in ten years. In 1992 he produced together with André Bonzel the feature film Man Bites Dog. On February 4, 1998, he committed suicide on the side of Noël Godin a pie attack on Bill Gates. In 2004 he was, together with Bruno Aveillan by Philippe André and Frédéric Planchon, as one of the best directors in the French advertising industry. In 2005 he was awarded at the Festival de la Publicité de Méribel several awards in the same year the Lion d' Argent at the Festival international de la Publicité de Cannes.

Rémy Belvaux took on 4 September 2006 at the age of 39 years life.
