Remy Zero

Remy Zero is an alternative rock band; she was in Birmingham, Alabama, Cinjun Tate (texts, guitar), Shelby Tate (texts, guitar, keyboards), Gregory Slay (drums), Cedric Lemoyne (bass) and founded Jeffrey Cain ( guitar).

Before she had ever taken any album, the group Radiohead one of their demo tapes fell into the hands. Subsequently, the British band invited her to participate as the opening act on their U.S. tour promoting their second album, The Bends. Then pulled Remy Zero from Birmingham, Alabama, to Los Angeles to record their first album. Their first album, Remy Zero is marked by this experience and gained some recognition and buyer. The subsequent album Villa Elaine was taken at the time when they lived in a same flat in Hollywood. This album was Remy Zero's big break in the U.S.. The Golden Hum, Remy Zero's third album was just as successful as the previous one. A 50 seconds long excerpt from "Save Me ", from the album "The Golden Hum " as the theme music of Smallville will be used. Remy Zero's song "Shattered " was crazy in the movies / Beautiful and Suicide Kings used. " Fair" from "Villa Elaine " was used in the movie " Garden State " and the most successful song " Prophecy", also from "Villa Elaine " was featured in the film " The Last Kiss ".

The band broke up after the album "The Golden Hum " and some members changed to other bands. Cinjun and Shelby Tate formed a new band called Spartan Fidelity, Jeffrey Cain went to Isidore, Cedric Lemoyne Alanis Morissette went with band on tour and Gregory Slay went to the band Sleep Well.

In the summer of 2006, the group reunited and published on their website that they were back together and collaborated on a new Remy Zero album again.
