Renan Luce
Renan Luce ( born March 5, 1980 in Paris ) is a French singer.
Biography
Renan Luce was born on 5 March 1980 in Paris, but spent his childhood and youth in Plourin -lès- Morlaix, a small village in Brittany.
After high school he attended two mandatory preparatory classes at the Grande école at the Lycée Saint -Vincent in Rennes. During this time, he already had his first gigs in bars and at music festivals. After these two years, he enrolled at the École Supérieure de Commerce (about: business school ) from Toulouse. While studying Renan Luce wrote his first songs that were released on a CD, benefited from the proceeds of a school in Madagascar.
After graduating, he moved to Paris and decided relatively quickly for it to devote himself exclusively to his career as a singer and composer. He signed his first recording contract at the end of 2005 Barclay Records.
In September 2006, appeared with Repenti his first studio album, were extracted from the four singles (Les Voisines, 2006 La Lettre, 2007 Repenti, 2008, Monsieur Marcel, 2008).
Because he so far only occurs in Francophone countries, it is largely unknown in Germany. In France, however his album Repenti received with over 250,000 copies sold in December 2007 platinum status.
