Renat Sabitov

Renat Charissowitsch Sabitow (Russian Ренат Харисович Сабитов; born June 13, 1985 in Moscow, Soviet Union ) is a Russian footballer of Tatar origin who acts in the position of defensive midfielder.

Career

Association

Sabitow enjoyed his training for football players at the Tschertanowo football school. He began his career in 2001 in the second team of FK Khimki. He signed a contract at the beginning of 2004 Saturn Ramenskoje, but was only on 22 May 2005 on the use in the game against Krylia Sovetov. Shortly before the end of his contract with Saturn he graduated in December 2006 from a professional contract with Spartak Moscow. He was loaned to FK Khimki in June 2008 and returned in early 2009 back to Spartak Moscow. Since 2010 Sabitow plays for Tom Tomsk.

National

Since Sabitow was not used in the period between 2004 and May 2005 at his club, he was able to complete some games for the Russian U-21 national team.
