Renat Rudolfowitsch Janbajew (Russian Ренат Рудольфович Янбаев; Tatar Ренат Рудольф улы Янбаев; born April 7, 1984 in Noginsk, Soviet Union ) is a Russian footballer of Tatar origin. He is usually on the left side of the defensive midfield or defense for use, but can also be used on other positions in midfield and defense. He is since 2007 at Lokomotiv Moscow under contract and part of the team of the Russian national team.

Janbajew came at the age of ten years for the football school of CSKA Moscow and went through all the youth and junior teams of the club, but managed not to enter into the first team, but began his professional career in 2003 at the Russian second division side Anzhi Makhachkala, his local performances convinced but then the in charge of CSKA, who took him under contract for 2004.
